FORENSICS.Any students unsupplied with the Announcements concerning forensics for 1885-86 can obtain copies of the pamphlet at U. 5. Especial attention is called to the fact that the present pamphlet contains a list of such among last year's topics as will not be accepted for use during the coming year.
For purposes of consultation with juniors about their forensic work Mr. Gates will be in the library, in closed alcove 25, at the following hours: Wednesday and Thursday, from 1.30 to 2.30 p. m.
The first senior forensic will be due Nov. 17 (not Nov. 10, as the pamphlet states); the first junior forensic will be due Dec. 1.
JUNIOR THEMES.Theme I will be due on Thursday, October 23. Subject: A criticism of some important work of some good author. No student will choose for criticism the work that he criticised last year.
SYMPHONY CONCERTS.The fifth series of concerts will be given in Sanders Theatre by the Boston Symphony Orchestra on the evenings of Nov. 5, Dec. 3, Jan. 7, Feb. 11, March 4, and March 25. Tickets, three dollars for the course.
