We wish to call the attention of the Athletic Committee to the need of a spring board at the north end of the walk from Sever to Memorial. The sewers on that side of Broadway are clogged up, and on rainy days for some time it has taken a pretty good "running long" jump to clear the swelling tide. Tuesday the stream was wider than ever, and many poor jumpers failed to clear it. A spring-board on the sidewalk would save the weaker ones the trouble of going around the block.
