The officers of the Society of Christian Brethren for the second half-year are as follows: President, A. E. Strong, '85; secretary, C. F. Carrier, 85: treasurer, G. P. Knapp, '87; and librarian, A. T. Dudley, '87. The membership of the society is at present over eighty.
Harvard has fourteen graduates in Congress-thirteen representatives and one senator; Yale, two senators and four representatives, Princeton, five representatives; Brown, four representatives, and Dartmouth and Williams, three each. In the cabinet are two Harvard graduates, Secretaries Lincoln and Chandler. Attorney-General Brewster is a graduate of Princeton.
We learn with surprise from the Index that the heavyweight wrestling last winter was won by Mr. H. K. Simcoe, '85.
