The Boston Herald of yesterday says "The Yale College team will make every endeavor to retain the college championship. Dates have already been arranged with the New Yorks, Metropolitans, Athletics, Philadelphias and Washingtons, and correspondence is going on for a game with the Bostons."

One of the colored waiters at Memorial does not condescend to speak to the men at his table in English. He only talks French, a new accomplishment which, however, is not required for admission to the hall as a waiter. It is needless to say that the learned sophomores at the table of the waiter in question, sometimes have hard work to make their wants known to this accomplished servant.

A strong effort is being made to remove the Dartmouth medical college from Hanover to Concord. Persons interested in the attempt claim that the conditions upon which the professors of the New Hampshire medical institution became trustees of the state property at Hanover, have not been complied with, and that Attorney-General Tappan will call the attention of these men to the legislation concerning the subject. They also allege that there is quite a general feeling that the property should not be used by men who discriminate against women as medical students and that the General Court at its next session will be asked to make the trustees of Dartmouth college trustees of the state property.

The Rev. Phillips Brooks will preach before St. Paul's Society and the Society of Christian Brethren, tomorrow evening at half-past seven, in St. John's Church. Seats will be reserved for students. All members of the University are cordially invited.
