As the University eight leaves for New London tomorrow, the last opportunity to see the crew row on the Charles river will be offered this afternoon, between four and five o'clock. The crew as a whole, and especially the captain, deserve the warmest thanks of the college for their faithful work and self-sacrifice. Although the crew has been described as a faulty one, we have, nevertheless, great confidence in it and hopes of success. Whatever may be the result of the races we may rest satisfied that all that was possible for the captain and men to accomplish has been done. It would doubtless be gratifying to every member of the crew to know, by the presence of a large number of students at their last row, that their efforts have been appreciated by the college.
