Cornell is to introduce a new feature into her spring meeting in a race of the following kind : The whole distance to be covered is 300 yards ; the first 75 yards, walk, (square heel and toe) ; second 75 yards, hop ; third, 75 yards hurdle race (2 feet, 6 inches) ; and last, 75 yards, run.
