The continued prosperity of the nine, overshadowed for a time by the defeat at Brown, has been gladly welcomed by the college. The defeat of Amherst by Yale on Saturday makes the latter our bearest rivals for the championship, but with careful work and earnest play we see no reason to doubt the ultimate success of our nine in winning the championship, if the success of the past will but attend them in the future.
