We understand that the Yale freshmen object to playing the first game with our freshmen in Cambridge. We wish to say to the management of our team that it should insist upon the first game being played here and that any reasons for playing the game at New Haven must be very powerful ones to induce them to yield. For many years the first freshmen game has been played at New Haven and the time has certainly come for a change. This is a great advantage for a team to play its first game on its own grounds and among its own friends, and this advantage should be claimed by our freshmen. We hope that the freshmen management will be very firm in this matter as they certainly have all justice on their side.
