This evening General Opdyke lectures under the auspices of the Historical Society, in Sanders Theatre. We congratulate the society on their success in obtaining a more commodious hall. It now only remains for the students at large to show their appreciation of this most interesting course by being present at the remaining lectures. Such opportunities to learn new facts concerning the Civil War from such good authorities are seldom obtainable, here or elsewhere. The subject this evening is especially interesting, as it is one of which most men know less than of many phases of the great war.
