EDITORS HERALD-CRIMSON.-It would amaze some instructors to see the freshmen rush for seats at Prof. Cooke's chemistry lecture. Generally there has been a large number about the door fifteen or twenty minutes before the hour. Would it not be convenient to open the door early, so that those fortunate enough to get there before the hour could quietly take their seats without being forced through the door by the pressure of the eager crowd behind? At the last lecture the balustrade at the head of the stairs was very nearly broken, and had there been a few more pounds pressure on it, there might have been a serious accident.
