We are glad to learn through the University Calendar that the petition for a reduction in the required number of forensics has been granted. The number of subjects which must be prepared for the final examination has been wisely reduced from six to four, in accordance with the requests of the students as expressed by the petition. It will now be possible for those unfortunates, who will for the first time be initiated in the mysteries of a forensic examination, to be able to enter the examination room without that feeling of despondency which, but for the windiness of Dr. Royce, would surely have been experienced.
