It is with pleasure that we notice an announcement that the tickets for the Pierian and Glee Club concert are on sale at Sever's. Twice a year the students, and with them the people of Cambridge are allowed the privilege of hearing a combination concert by these two trained musical societies of the college; and when the opportunity arrives it should not be neglected. The concert this winter will, in all probability, be of more than usual excellence. For, while the Glee club expects to maintain the excellent reputation which it has enjoyed in the past, the Pierian Sodality was never in so flourishing a condition as at present. Unprecedented efforts, by means of numerous rehearsals, have been made in preparation, and the club will no doubt surpass all its former performances.
