But though only so small a number were on the field, they managed to make their presence most effectively felt by crowding over the fair lines at every chance, and hindering both elevens by their obstinacy in staying there. If anything like a proper state of order is to be maintained at the game next Saturday, the field must be roped off and guarded by an adequate force of police.
