EDITORS DAILY CRIMSON: -It seems as if some action ought to be taken about joining a torchlight procession. It has been the custom for Harvard to join the Republican procession, as a large majority of the students have favored the Republican candidates. This year, however, in consideration of the large Independent movement, the college is, probably, nearly divided. It would, however, spoil the fun of the procession, if the whole college did not go together.

I should, therefore, suggest that a mass meeting be held, and a vote taken to see which procession the majority favored, with the understanding that the minority should march with the majority, Thus, I think, with no ill feeling the old custom and fun would be preserved.
