We wish it distinctly understood that we cannot undertake to publish any long articles or communications which are left at our office late in the evening. We are always willing to publish communications which we consider to be of sufficient interest, but such communications must be handed in before our paper is made up. Unless this is done we cannot answer for the appearance of articles which under other circus stances we should be happy to print.
As several complaints have been made in regard to this matter, we think it but right to ourselves and to our contributors that our position should be fully understood.
