The communication upon the tennis courts of the college, which we print this morning contains a suggestion which it would be well to heed. All tennis players know how unsatisfactory a court is for practice, which is neither turf nor gravel. If the association could only afford to lay out clay courts, the results would undoubtedly be perfectly satisfactory. As it is, the best thing that can be done is to remove the ragged tufts of grass, and make the courts over into smooth earthen floors.
