The senior class meeting which takes place this evening has been called for the purpose of electing a class photographer and a class photographic committee. In addition to this it is intended to ask the class whether or not they prefer uniforms for the Republican torchlight procession. Both of these things are important and of interest to every one in the class. The choice of a photographer should be made carefully and with due regard to the claims of the candidates for the position. The committee which was selected to investigate the question of a photographer have done their work and will report as impartially as possible on the merits of Mr. Notman and Mr. Pach, leaving it entirely in the hands of the class to decide which they will select, after hearing the report. We hope, therefore, that any man who has any preference will not fail to attend the meeting and give the class the benefit of his views. It has been a well known fact that for the last few years the committee have selected the photographer ; this year, however, the class will do the selection and every member of the class should be present to assist in the selection.
Then the other question which will come up, the question of uniforms, has occasioned considerable comment. Many members of the class do not seem to be in favor of uniforms, but prefer the old custom of "dress as dress can," thinking that this gives a more unique appearance to the Harvard procession. As these questions will come up for discussion and decision we hope the meeting will be well attended.
