We have received a communication in regard to the theft of the Christian Brethren shingle. We were obliged to notice an offence of the same nature last year, when the shingle of the St. Paul's society was stolen. But few words need be said on the subject now. We would merely say to the freshmen, for no upper classman would have played such a contemptible trick, that one's reputation for "nerve" is not to be increased by such means, and that if the perpetrator of this outrage becomes known, his college career will not be materially aided by the act.
