In a recent lecture Mr. Walker, M. P., claimed that the bicycle was one of the most wonderful inventions of modern time. It was a great temperance reformer, because it was impossible for a man to ride his bicycle if he were otherwise than sober. It was a great educational reformer, because it enabled persons to go from one end of the country to the other in a fortnight at little expense, and spend their holidays in a reasonable n a reasonable and rational manner.
