If the later date is of no importance to those There is no part of the half-year in which we are all so busy as the last few days before the semi-annuals, unless it is while they are actually going on. I, therefore, learn with surprise that the fourth junior theme will be due only two days before the first examination. Only one thing could show more disregard for our convenience, and that would be to call for the fifth theme in the midst of the examinations. As this seems likely to be done we can only hope that it will not be done.
