The freshman championship base-ball series was begun by the class of '69. Harvard, '71 and '76, each won the one game played, '77 and '79 won two out of three, '78, '80 and '81 each won one out of three games played. The Yale freshmen have won all the games except those mentioned and Saturday's game. The university score now stands 21 to 17, in favor of Harvard, the freshman score 24 to 10, in Yale's favor.
