The class crews have been steadily at work for the past week, with but seemingly little change in their relative chances for first position. The junior's are making a somewhat better appearance but are still put down for last place by some of the knowing ones; the freshmen are not regarded with so much confidence as before by the majority of those who frequent the boat-house, but still those who are the most closely interested still express an opinion that they will do good work. The seniors are undoubtedly the favorites in the race, but this is usually the case. The sophomores are still working steadily and quietly, but a careful observer can note a gleam of confidence in their eyes. An unusually interesting race may be expected and the next week will be given up to hard work by all the crews.
