The second annual game with Dr. Pope's nine was played yesterday on Jarvis. The game last year resulted in a score of 24 to 10 in favor of Harvard. Dr. Pope's nine was made up of Beacon players with the exception of Dr. Pope himself and Kimball, '86, who played right field. Harvard's battery was, White and Crocker, Allen and Nichols, playing centre and right field respectively. The feature of the game was Crocker's catching. Baker played a fine game at short and did some very heavy batting, hs did Lovering. The features of the game for Dr. Pope's nine were the doctor's own batting and base running. The score by innings.
