We hope the success of the lacrosse team in the past will be rewarded by a large audience at the game today with Princeton. The team, although weakened by the loss of several strong players whose places had to be filled by comparatively new men, easily beat the New York University Lacrosse Club last week. The Princeton Club has the reputation of being one of the strongest clubs in the association and will undoubtedly play a strong game, forcing our men to do their utmost to win. Our team have also greatly improved since their last game, and an exciting and interesting contest will probably be the result. As a large number of men will go down to Yale, every one who possibly can should aid the lacrosse team today by his presence at this game, which will be the first played on the home grounds this year. As, by the new rules. the entire gate receipts go to the home club, here is an opportunity for the college to assist materially in the support of one of the most successful branches of athletics, which, we hope, will not be neglected.
