Mr. Balch, steward of the Dining Association, has handed in his resignation, to take effect as soon as his successor shall be appointed. The corporation will take immediate steps toward the appointment of a new steward, who will be installed in the position as soon as possible. The troubles that have been threatening the hall will thus it is hoped be happily averted.
