The theatricals to be given by the Pi Eta Society in Horticultural Hall, Boston, next Thursday evening, are for the benefit of the Boat Club. This alone ought to insure a large attendance of the students. The University crew, after the successful result of last year's race with Yale, deserves the hearty and liberal support of the whole college, and we can think of no more agreeable way of showing our appreciation of their efforts than in attending the theatricals which are given for their benefit.
A part, however, from all feelings of duty in the matter, no one ought to miss seeing these particular theatricals. They are said, by those who have already seen them, to be among the best produced by college men for several years. One of the gentlemen who take part is deemed by many to be one of the best amateur actors seen in college for a number of years. We hope then, for the sake of the Boat Club, for the sake of the society which has spent so much time and labor on them, and for the sake of those who enjoy a good play, that there will not be a single vacant seat at the performance next Thursday.
