The nine played its third game of the season with the Holy Cross College nine at Worcester on Saturday. The playing of the nine was strong throughout. White pitched well, and was well supported behind the bat by Allen, who made several very brilliant stops. Smith covered first base in fine style, having played an errorless game thus far this season. Beaman made several fine stops of hard hit grounders, and his accurate throwing to first was worthy of praise. The nine showed a decided improvement in base running. Nichols and White led in batting.
