The latest story laid at the door of John Stetson treats of his $150-per-week comedian, Harry Dixey, late Lord Chancellor of the Bijou. Dixey was speaking of the very limited educational chances which had fallen to his lot. "Well," said Stetson, "if you had graduated at Harvard you might be getting as much as eight dollars a week now, weighing nails in a hardware store."
