The building occupied by Bradstreet's commercial agency, on Broadway, New York, was damaged to the extent of $170,000 by fire yesterday.

The 250th anniversary of the introduction of the Order of Jesus into America was celebrated in the Catholic church throughout the United States yesterday by appropriate religious services.

A severe wind and rain storm prevailed throughout the Northwest on Saturday, doing a vast amount of damage. Wisconsin, Minnesota, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska and Missouri were visited and a large number of buildings were demolished.
