Prof. H. W. Wiley, who has been appointed chief chemist of the United States Department of Agriculture, is a graduate of Harvard.

The preliminary spring meeting for the senior and sophomore classes will be held on Jarvis Feld May 14th at 4 P. M., and for the juniors and freshmen on May 15th. The university meeting will be held Saturday, May 19th, at 2.30. Entries for the university meeting will close May 17th.
