Now that the three meetings are over, we wish to congratulate the management upon their success in skilfully conducting the exhibitions and adding one more series to the long list of successful and popular entertainments which have of late years characterized the Harvard Athletic Association. Mr. Lowell's management has been energetic throughout and marked by an earnest desire to keep the meetings up to the high standard set by his predecessors.

The last of the winter athletic meetings came off Saturday afternoon. It was confined to purely athletic and gymnastic events, there being no contests in sparring or wrestling. Most of the events were filled from '83 and '86. Our winter meetings this year, as a whole, have been eminently successful but with the graduation of '83, so many good men will be lost, that great energy will be needed to keep these meetings up to their present standard.
