The second winter meeting was a decided success. The events were all well contested, and in several cases the records were better than were made last year. In the two-hand vault Mr. At kinson succeeded in raising his record of last year over an inch. The lightweight sparring called forth great enthusiasm. The numerous entries in the standing high jump made the event an entertaining one. Altogether the meeting compares favorably with those of former years.
