We sincerely hope that a repetition of the disgraceful affair of Sunday noon in the dining hall will never occur. Whatever may be the provocation, no student is justified in making use of such a method of chastisement. There are other much more dignified and expedient means of redress, which may be made use of by an appeal to the proper authorities.
