We are sorry to notice that men are beginning to avail themselves of the opportunities afforded by the reading-room without contributing their share towards its support. The room is at present left unlocked and it would be a pity if the directors should be compelled, by such action on the part of a few men, to return to the old, unpleasant system of locks and latch-keys. The fault is probably the result of oversight and we have no doubt that a word will be sufficient to correct it.
