For the H. A. A. Meeting today the doors do not open until 2 P.M., meeting begins at 2.30.

It is possible that the advanced sections in Freshman German will have no examination this term.

The middlers' german at Exeter takes place next week. A number of men from Harvard will attend.

Excluding the tug-of-war teams the entries for today are divided among the classes as follows : '83 has 13; '84 and '85 have 1 each; and '86 and S. S. have 3 each.

The second nine of the Hasty Pudding Club from '84 is as follows : Appleton, White, Mandell, Baylies, Burr, F. H. Clark, L. A. Shaw, W. W. Mumford and Osborne.

The class of '85 at Dartmouth has received an addition of five men from Bowdoin. Is this an agreement between the two colleges to send the suspended men of one to the other college?

A certain freshman is said to have transferred his affections from Langtry to Patti, since at the last performance of the latter she patted him on the back and commended him for his make-up for a "minor part."

A communication in yesterday's Boston Journal combats Dr. Sargent's statement that walking, of itself, is of no value as an exercise, but that a spirited walk is one of the finest of all physical exercises. Also that gymnasium exercises are of the "greatest account."

The Glee Club gave a successful concert at Exeter last night. Every selection, especially the college songs, was thoroughly appreciated. The programme was as follows : 1. "Spanish Drinking Song," Owen Wister; "Klage," Franz Gluck; 2. Tenor solo by Mr. Lilienthal; 3. "Serenade," Marschner; 4. "Three Glasses," Fischer; 5. College songs; 6. "Winter Song." Gade; 7. Solo by Mr. McCagg; 8. Waltz song; 9. "Bill of Fare;" 10. College songs.
