We are glad to learn that the difficulties of the Senior Crew have been finally settled, and that the class will be represented in the spring races by a good eight. Six men who have had experience in the shell, including the captain, Mr. Cabot, of last year's University Crew, have finally consented to row, thus leaving but two places to be filled by new men. It is to be hoped that candidates for these two vacant places will not be wanting; there are plenty of men in the class who are able and should be willing to devote time and trouble enough to train a couple of months. Eighty-three has an excellent shell and a fine set of oars, so that with a good amount of work by the old men and new candidates the prospects for a continuance of her brilliant rowing record are bright.
