EDITORS HARVARD HERALD: At a meeting of the board of directors at Memorial Hall, three hundred dollars were voted to pay for fitting up the office of the auditor. In the first place, I think it would be interesting to the college to know the reasons for this expenditure. Does the hall greatly need such an office at a time when the question of the price of board is always a matter of considerable dispute and dissatisfaction? If we really need this additional accommodation, is it fair that it should all be paid for by this year's boarders? Why cannot the bill be paid off gradually, as so many other bills have been?
