The exhibition of the affairs of the Co-operative Society, made in the reports of its officers at the annual meeting last evening was eminently satisfactory. The growth in members and usefulness of the society has been most marked, and is a credit to its managers as well as to the college at large which has carried out so successfully such an important experiment in the theories of social science. The completion of the year with a balance of over $300 proves that the theory on which the society has been conducted is sound, and that the estimates made by its officers and the fees and percentages established have been well judged. With reasonable support and sensible management the society will be assured another year of successful existence.
