BEFORE.There is a youth with curled mustache,
Although the hairs are few;
He wears three rings upon his hand,
For 'tis the thing to do;
His hair is parted in the middle,
Looks particularly well;
His shoes are made with yellow tops -
Are singularly swell.
AFTER.There is a youth with shaven face,
She thinks face hair a boor;
He now has not a single ring,
She has about three more;
On the side his hair is parted,
More manly much, you see;
Those yellow tops they have departed,
"They're much too loud," says she.
