No lecture in History 12 today.

Prof. Lyon lectures in Divinity Hall lecture room on "Temples and Ritual," at 12 M. today.

Dr. J. L. Laughlin delivers a lecture on "The Sub-Treasury System," in Sever 11 this evening at 7.30.

There will be a meeting of the executive committee of the H. A. A. today at 1.30 P. M. in 36 Thayer.

G. L. Kittredge, '82, is writing an article on the subject of "Superstition" from the middle ages down to the present time.

Pending the rebuilding of the studio, Mr. Pach would be pleased to hear from the members of the class of '83 that intend having views made of their rooms. Mr. Tupper, representing the firm, will call on as many as possible. To those he is unable to see he would say that all members of '83 will have the benefit of the reduced rates.

The respondent to the toast "The Boston Alumni," at the Yale dinner said: "Some of the worthy women of Boston have high esteem of Harvard, and if one chances to have married a Yale man, after he has been to one of these dinners, he quietly airs his clothes, says little about it, and passes it over as smoothly as possible. They think Yale is a little rough and the only perfect man is a Harvard graduate."

A Jacksonville, Florida, paper says a colony of Harvard students, seven in number, and two outsiders, are projecting a settlement in that State and expect to obtain a charter for that purpose. The representative of the proposed company, who is looking for a site, is Mr. Charles W. Luck, Harvard, '82, who left Jacksonville a few weeks since and went up the river in search of a spot upon which to locate the company. The colony will consist of nine Harvard men, three of whom are from '82. It has been decided to settle in Gautemala, in order to raise sugar, together with a few of the more profitable drugs.

Prof. Dyer has in the hands of the publishers, Ginn & Heath, his edition of "Cron's Introduction to Plato's Apology." The book, which covers upwards of seventy pages, will contain a translation from Cron's German edition and numerous additions by the American editor. The work is expected to be out in a few weeks, in time for use by the freshmen. This is the second of the series edited by Professors White of Harvard and Packard of Yale - the first being an edition of the first book of "The Odyssey," which has not as yet been given to the public. Prof. Dyer will bring out his complete edition of the Apology and Crito at a later time.
