The State University of Ohio has opened for the winter term with three hundred and fifty students. There is quite an excitement among the students over the introduction of chapel exercises in the university, this being something to which they are entirely unaccustomed. At their last meeting the board of trustees, after consulting the attorney-general, passed a resolution instructing the faculty to hold, daily, a general meeting of the students for the reading of he Scriptures (without comment) and prayers, at the discretion of the president.
