At a recent meeting of the trustees of Princeton College President McCosh reviewed the progress the institution has made in the widening of its area of usefulness since he entered upon his office, and called attention to the fact that there had been no addition to the mental, moral and political sciences. "It would be a great stroke of wisdom," he said, "for the friends of the college to establish a School of Philosophy equal or superior to any in the country."
