The President will give a reception to the members of both houses of Congress and their families on Tuesday evening next.

The waters of the Ohio River are receding, and no additional loss of property is reported, but business is still much retarded.

The indictment against Prince Napoleon has been quashed and the prisoner released. If the expulsion bill is rejected in the French Senate today the ministry will resign.
