Again the Harvard freshmen have tied the Yale freshmen in foot-ball, contrary to the expectations of each side. The game was a most creditable exhibition in point of skill, and, though our freshmen were much handicapped by the weight of their opponents, they played the better game of the two on the whole. It was naturally somewhat of a disappointment to have the game result as it did, especially after so auspicious a beginning, but it could not be helped. The faithful work of the eleven and the good management shown by their captain entitle them to the sincere thanks of '87, and we congratulate the class on the showing made by their representatives in Saturday's game.
