The subject upon which the Seniors in the Yale Law School, who compete for the Townsend prize of $100 must write, are as follows : 1. "Regulation of Inter-State Commerce." 2. "Strikes." 3. "Recent Decision of the Supreme Court on the Civil Rights Bill." 4. "Government Control of Telegraph." The graduating theses must be written upon the following subjects : 1. "Development of the Law of mortgages." 2. "Estoppel by Silence." 3. "Joint Ownership by Chattles." The subject for those studying for the degree of M. L. is : "The Consolidation of Railways and the Government of Cities." For those in the D. C. L. course it is "Customary Law."
