Before it is to late we would again emphasize the necessity of as many as possible putting down their names for the reading room at once before the book is closed. It ought not to be a difficult matter to obtain a hundred names, and yet it now seems as if the project would fall through entirely, as only about half the required number have signed. No doubt this is partly owing to the fact that many are unaware of the fact that the committee are prepared to receive subscriptions, while in many cases the pleasant weather has caused the students to forget the many dull winter hours yet in store for us in which the possession of a reading room will be a great convenience. But, however this may be, it is evident that unless all who would join the reading room under any circumstances. come forward at once, they will hereafter regret their delay, for the plan will not be carried out at all, unless now. We would therefore urge all to look to the future a little and not by the present inactivity and want of support deprive themselves of much enjoyment in the winter months.
