It is to be hoped that the array of coaches bearing the Yale colors at the Thanksgiving game may this year be larger that ever, for the Harvard men are reported to be making extensive preparations for insuring their team the support of a larger display of the crimson than Princeton used to make of the orange and black. We offer a few hints as to how coaches may be secured, in the hope that they may be of service.
A coach costs from thirty to forty-five dollars, and the money is generally required half at the time the coach is engaged and the balance before the coach starts, on the day of the game. The best way to find out about a coach is to go to the carriage starter at the Metropolitan Hotel (he can be found about the entrance) or to the New York Transfer Co's stables, or to the carriage starter at the Park Ave. Hotel. A coach will hold from eighteen to twenty comfortably. One should start about an hour and a half before the hour for the game in order to get a place in the front line. If any intend to take coaches they must secure them at once, as Harvard men are rapidly engaging them. [News.
