It has been suggested that if favorable weather returns a skating match for different distances be arranged, to be held on Fresh Pond or some other convenient locality, so that Harvard's runners and others may have an opportunity to test their speed on ice and to establish a college record. The Athletic Association might consider the plan, and, if deemed advisable, offer prizes for the winners.
