We wish again to call the attention of subscribers to the reading room to the necessity of paying their subscriptions at once. Over one hundred gentlemen gave their names as wishing to enjoy the advantages of the room and willing to bear their share of the expense. Depending on this promised support, the officers of the association have got the room into running order, and have placed on file an exceptionally valuable collection of papers and periodicals. We are sorry to learn, however, that a very small proportion of the original subscribers have as yet thought it worth while to make good their promises. The continuance of the room now depends entirely upon the subscribers, and they should delay payment no longer.
