The Co-operative Society is now ready to receive and put on sale any second-hand furniture belonging to members. Blanks to be filled out with a list of the articles to be put on sale can be had at the office. Goods will not be considered as accepted by the society until these lists are signed by the superintendent. A furniture mover has agreed to move all goods to and from the old gymnasium for twenty-five per cent. less than he will charge other parties for the same work, the orders to be left at the office for him. Members are to pay the expense of moving, and in order that the mover whom the society has engaged may have security, those who employ him must pay his charges before the goods are put on sale by the society. Furniture will be received at any time, and after June 4 members can make purchases. There is already quite a demand for second-hand furniture.
